Prayer

As a church we believe that God is alive and active in our world. Prayer is one of the ways that we can spent time with him, both speaking to him and listening to him, for ourselves and for others.

We have different ways of doing it across the parish. We try to include it in what we do as much as possible.

Wednesday Morning Prayers

Each Wednesday, 9:15-9:30am, we meet for morning prayers in the St Luke’s Chapel.

Prayer for our community, local and overseas missions

Each Friday at 10:00am we meet in the St Luke’s Chapel to pray for our community, local and overseas missions. We also offer prayer to anyone attending the Friday Food Share from 10:20am.

Prayer Chain

We have a parish prayer chain, which is there for those who would like a team of people to pray confidentially for a situation in their lives. Call the parish office on 04 904 3018 or email prayerchain@anglican.co.nz.
