Pastoral care committee representativeThe Pastoral Care Committee links together the pastoral care ministries of each congregation and maintains close and frequent communication with the Parish Faith Nurse and Core Groups. Amoung its members is one person from each Core Group. It also overseas bereavement support (often linked to congregations), Exee meals, and teaching seminars. A representative from the Committee is a member of Vestry. Â Youth pastor and youth representativeThe work with the youth is lead by the Youth Pastor. A member of the youth or those who work with youth will be invited to be a member of Vestry. Â Synod representativeTwo elected parishioners attend each Diocesan Synod gathering and Regional Meetings with the parish clergy. They hold office for two years and are elected at the parish AGM. They are entitled to attend Vestry meetings but have no voting rights. Â Parochial nominatorsWithin two months of the Annual General Meeting Vestry is required to elect four persons who are qualified to be members of Vestry to be the Parochial Nominators for the parish. Â |
