At Connect we also have fabulous children’s programmes. Our vision is to run age-appropriate programs for children of all ages that will encourage them to know God and trust His Word. All leaders are police screened and have undertaken to operate by our health and safety procedures. Parents are encouraged to assist and be involved – especially with younger children.
Babies & ToddlersWe have a secure play area at the back of our hall for babies and toddlers who want to stay in church with mum or dad. There's some toys, a carpet square and seats for the adults.
Little Twinklers (Ages 1-2)A leader creates a welcoming environment and provides age appropriate resources, songs and activities to help reinforce Biblical stories for our littlies. Parents are expected to help as required.
Sonshine Kids (Ages 2-4)Our Sunday morning programme for pre-schoolers. We use a high ratio of adult and teen helpers to ensure our program is safe, interesting and relevant for our precious littlies. The program is simple, includes refreshments, and reveals the love and reality of Jesus in age appropriate stories and activities. Once a month we learn something about our environment and how God wants us to look after what he has made.
Kids Connect (Ages 5-8)Our Sunday morning program for school years 1-4. We believe it is important to support parents in the vital role of bringing up children in the Christian faith. We use a ‘shepherding’ approach where children are encouraged through small groups. Children are supplied with clear-files to collect their work and enable parents to look back over what we’ve been learning.
FROG (Ages 8-12)Fully Reliant On God’ - our Sunday morning programme for school years 5-8. We enjoy lots of fun, interaction and activity with the goal of encouraging children to look into the Bible for themselves. Our philosophy is ‘God is real. There is plenty of evidence! He should be a normal part of life. We also use clear-files for children to build up a record of what they’ve been learning.
Blast (Ages 13-18)At Blast, our aim is to equip young people making the transition to high school with the knowledge of Jesus’ love, purpose and power and to reach out to our friends and fellow students.
